What Wsup AI actually is (and what it is not)
Wsup AI is a browser-first character chat service at wsup.ai. Same shape as Character.AI, minus the signup wall in front of the first message. The domain went live on June 16, 2024 (WHOIS: Key-Systems GmbH), Skywork AI Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) publishes the Android app, and now.gg carries a cloud-streamed version. Three tabs: Feed for character-authored posts that read like a social timeline, Explore for the searchable library, Chats for ongoing conversations. An account is only needed for cross-device history, character creation and credit-pack purchases.
Wsup AI is not a productivity tool. Both store listings carry the standard "AI-generated responses may be inaccurate" disclaimer, and character voice is the pitch. It is also not a subscription. No Pro tier, no free trial that quietly renews. Paid features run through one-time credit packs at $1.99, $4.99, $9.99 and $19.99. Anything sold as a "Wsup AI Premium subscription" off-store is not the real product, a point Techraisal makes too.
One weakness worth flagging up front: no long-term memory. The model reads the character definition plus recent messages of the current chat and nothing older. Both TechLinos and Techraisal document the same complaint that in long chats the character forgets what was said earlier, which is context-window behaviour. The Background field in Advanced Options helps: whatever sits there is prepended to every chat with the character and stands in for persistent memory in casual use.

On the web, wsup.ai loads in any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Every character in Explore opens for chat without an account. 4. Flip the filter, buy credits only if needed
Text chat is unlimited on the free tier and does not push a paid upgrade. The Filtered / Unfiltered toggle sits inside chat settings on the web version. Credit packs pay for image generation and premium characters; text-only users rarely need to buy.

Light users pay nothing. Heavy image users can spend more per month than a Character.AI c.ai+ subscription would cost, worth pricing out before committing.
Filtered, Unfiltered, and what happens in between
The Filtered / Unfiltered toggle lives inside chat settings on the browser version. Filtered mirrors Character.AI's default: mature themes get softened, explicit content triggers refusals. Unfiltered removes those brakes and shows a red banner about explicit content potentially getting a character removed or an account restricted, a warning Techraisal also describes. Even on Unfiltered, minor-related content, non-consensual scenarios framed as fantasy and impersonation of real people are hard limits. Wsup AI enforces 18+ at the account level; this site uses its own age gate.
The mobile apps carry a documentation gap worth naming. App Store and Google Play policies do not permit explicit content, so the mobile clients default closer to Filtered even when the account is set to Unfiltered on the web. now.gg is a cloud-streaming service originally built for playing mobile games in a browser. It also hosts a shortlist of AI apps as first-class citizens, and Wsup AI is one of them. The cloud version lives at now.gg/apps/now-gg/51946/sup-ai.html, runs the same Wsup AI chat, and connects to the same account. On school networks that classify now.gg as gaming and wsup.ai as adult or "chat," the cloud version is the working route because it passes through the filter as a game.
The cleaner workaround is the mobile app on cellular data. School and workplace filters run at the network level; switching a phone off the Wi-Fi and onto its cellular connection routes around the filter without any proxy, mirror or VPN. The apps and the web share a single account, so history carries. Anything sold as "wsup ai unblocked" that involves a proxy or mirror URL is not a workaround; it is either a phishing setup that wants the reader's login or an ad-injection wrapper. Skip those.

Do Wsup AI credit packs expire?
Neither the App Store nor Google Play description mentions a credit expiry, and no user reports have flagged one so far. Bonus credits attached to limited-time store bundles sometimes carry a shorter shelf life than the base pack. If a specific pack looks different, the store receipt is the ground truth, not the in-app balance.
Can I export my Wsup AI chat history?
There is no export button in the interface as of July 2026. Neither the web nor the mobile apps offer a JSON, CSV or plain-text download of past chats, and no support article on wsup.ai describes an export flow. Save Page or a scroll-through screenshot captures what is currently rendered, not the full history. What happens to my custom characters if I delete my Wsup AI account?
The store listings and help pages do not spell out the exact behaviour. Reports on similar platforms (Character.AI, Chub AI, Talkie) show a pattern: private characters go with the account, public characters that already have chats stay live under an archived-creator marker. Wsup AI probably behaves similarly, but there is no published guarantee. If a character is worth keeping, rebuild it on a second account from the source description before deleting the first.
What languages does Wsup AI actually work in?
The interface is English. The App Store listing supports English only, and Google Play lists English as primary. The model will reply in other languages, but character voice was clearly trained on English: user reports mention characters drifting back into English mid-reply. A language-specific companion app usually reads more naturally.

How do I report a character that breaks the content filter?
