Editorial policy
Independence, source verification, affiliate handling, and the corrections process behind every page shipped on wsup-ai.com. Readable in five minutes, applied on every refresh.
Independence
wsup-ai.com is not owned by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Skywork AI Pte. Ltd., now.gg, or any other platform covered on the site. No editorial decision (comparison ranking, phrasing, whether a shortcoming gets named) is negotiated with a platform in exchange for placement or access. Where a comparison mentions an alternative that pays affiliate commissions, that fact is disclosed in the body copy or on the disclosure line of the affected page. If a platform refuses to grant press-side access to a feature (a promo credit pack, a beta option, early API), the refusal itself is documented rather than filled in with guesswork.
Sources and verification
Every factual claim carries a source. Primary sources come first: the wsup.ai interface itself, the App Store listing at ID 6753868146, the Google Play listing at package ai.wsup.app.android, public WHOIS records, and content on wsup.ai. Secondary sources (third-party reviews at TechLinos, Techraisal, AiBoxTools; community discussion; install counts on AppBrain) are cited by name with a date and never used as the sole support for a claim. Chain-of-review sites are not used at all. Full mechanics of the source hierarchy sit on the methodology page.
Corrections
Factual corrections are welcome and take precedence over defence of the original wording. When a mistake is confirmed, the affected page is updated within seven working days, the change is noted in the corrections log below with a short summary, and the JSON-LD dateModified field is refreshed. Corrections requests go through the LinkedIn contact on the editor profile with the URL, the disputed claim and a source that supports the correction.
Corrections log
No corrections logged as of October 6, 2026. This section will be updated with a running list as corrections are applied. Every entry will show the affected page, the summary of the change and the date it was made.
Affiliate handling
Some outbound CTAs on this site are affiliate links. When a reader signs up or subscribes after clicking one, wsup-ai.com may receive a small commission at no cost to the reader. Commissions fund coverage refreshes and hosting. What affiliate revenue does not influence: which platforms get covered, how they rank in comparison tables, which shortcomings get named, whether a negative review gets softened, or whether a positive review gets inflated. If a specific platform ever pays the site more than another, that difference is disclosed on the affected page rather than hidden.
What is not covered
Coverage sticks to AI character chat and adjacent consumer AI companion products. General AI news, model architecture debate, enterprise AI tooling and productivity chatbots sit out of scope. Content directed at minors sits out of scope: the site is 18+ throughout, per the age verification policy. Legal and medical advice sits out of scope; nothing on this site should be read as either.
AI use in editorial
Language models are used at the drafting stage for outline expansion and copy-editing passes. Every claim in a final draft is verified against a primary or documented secondary source before publication. No page ships as raw model output. Original testing (opening chats, exercising the Filtered / Unfiltered toggle, reading App Store metadata, building characters from empty state) is done by hand and logged on the methodology page.
Corrections turnaround target
Confirmed corrections applied within seven working days. Structural rewrites (a section rewritten, a new section added, an outdated section removed) noted on the affected page with a review date. Nothing about the corrections process is discretionary: if the source supports the correction, the page changes. This policy runs alongside the terms of service and the privacy policy; compliance for editorial text-only content sits separately on the 18 U.S.C. § 2257 statement.
